Goulash Soup with Pork Meat, Bacon, and Sausage
Ingredients
Instructions
First, prepare the onion and bacon. Chop both into small pieces. Place a larger pot over medium heat. Melt the pork lard in it and heat it well. Add the chopped bacon and onion to the pot and start frying. Then add the pieces of pork meat and fry everything together.
When the pork meat is browned, dust the base of the goulash soup with flour and ground red paprika. Mix well for a while and pour in the beef broth. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Add blanched and chopped tomatoes. Season this base of goulash soup with salt, ground caraway seeds, ground red paprika, marjoram, and freshly ground black pepper.
Bring everything to a boil. Add finely chopped potatoes, carrots, and sausages. Cook until the potatoes are tender. Finally, taste the soup. If needed, add salt, ground black pepper, ground paprika, or marjoram. If adjusting the seasoning, it is necessary to simmer the soup for another 5 minutes over low heat. Remove the soup from the heat.
