1 onion, bay leaves, cooking cream, broth, salt, pepper, 4 potatoes, a bit of lard, lentils (I use canned lentils in brine but it can also be regular... but it needs to be soaked and vinegar for seasoning.

Finely chop the onion, sauté in lard, add diced potatoes, pepper, bay leaf, pour in broth, simmer until soft, add lentils, cook in cream, mix in half a tablespoon of flour to thicken the stew, pour it into a pot, bring to a boil again, season with vinegar to taste, serve with fried sausage, klobasa, and hard-boiled egg.
