Finely chop the onions and sauté in butter, add about 1 tbsp of flour and pour in water. Add broth and bring to a boil. Add finely chopped potatoes (washed and diced into small cubes). Let it simmer for 10 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Add cream and simmer lightly, then sprinkle dill according to taste and quantity.

Simmer everything and finally season the soup with salt and sugar. (Dill soup is better sweet so don't be afraid of sugar). For those who prefer sweet and sour, you can also add vinegar or lemon juice.

The soup can be served with fresh bread.
