about 1 and 1/4l of beef broth (if unavailable, use the same amount of water and 2 beef bouillon cubes)
Slice the meat into approximately 1cm thick slices, lightly pound, season with salt and pepper on both sides, spread horseradish on one side and layer in a bowl. Let it sit for about 1 hour, then coat on both sides with flour and sear in hot oil. Place the seared meat in a pressure cooker. Add onions to the pan and brown, then pour over the meat, cover with broth to completely submerge the meat, close the cooker and simmer for about 30 minutes.
The meat usually thickens the sauce enough, but if the sauce still seems thin, you can remove the meat, thicken the sauce with a little flour mixed in cold water, and simmer for another 10 minutes. Season with ground black pepper.
