Soak the rolls in milk or just water until they soften. Prepare the ground meat. Squeeze the rolls in your hands to remove as much water as possible and add them to the meat. Add one or two eggs, salt, crushed garlic, black ground pepper, a bit of ground paprika, and mix everything well.

Shape the meatballs, coat them in flour, and fry them in heated oil.

Make a sauce from the drippings. Add chopped onion, sauté it a bit, add flour, sauté together, and then pour in water. Add tomato puree, season with salt, pepper, taste with sugar, and let it simmer well.

Serve with boiled potatoes or dumplings.
