Mashed Potatoes

Peel and dice potatoes, cook in salted water until soft (15-18 min). Drain, add butter and warm milk gradually. Mix until smooth, season with salt and nutmeg.

Meat

Cut chicken breasts into slices (4-6 pieces). Gently flatten with foil, season with salt, and pepper.

Breading

Flour → eggs beaten with milk → breadcrumbs (do not press too much).

Frying

Heat oil/butter in a medium deep pan to 170-175°C. Fry schnitzels for 2.5-3.5 min on each side until golden brown. Place on paper towels.

Serving

Schnitzel, a dollop of mashed potatoes, a spoonful of tartar sauce. Optionally, sauerkraut or leafy salad.

Tip

Do vajec primiešaj 1 ČL horčice a štipku sladkej papriky – obal bude chutnejší. Rezne po vysmažení nechaj 2–3 minúty „oddýchnuť“ na mriežke – ostanú chrumkavé.
