This recipe is among my favorites. It is quick, easy, and the result is always perfect. I often make Creamy Chicken Sauté when I don't have time to cook something complicated but still want the family to have a warm and tasty meal. Creamy sauce, tender chicken pieces, and fluffy rice - that's the combination we love at home.

Instructions

1

Cut chicken breasts into small pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and let sit for a few minutes while preparing the onion.

2

Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown. Then add the meat and cook until nicely browned.

3

Add crushed garlic, paprika, and herbs. Stir and add a bit of water. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the meat is tender.

4

In a small bowl, mix cream with flour and pour it into the pan. While stirring constantly, let the sauce boil and thicken.

5

Serve with freshly cooked rice.

My tip

If you want the sauce to have a subtle cheesy flavor, add a spoonful of grated Edam or Parmesan cheese at the end. Instead of rice, buttered dumplings or pasta also go well.
