Instructions

1
Chicken meat

Wash and dry the chicken quarters and rub them with a mixture of oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and thyme. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

2
Baking

Bake in the oven at 190°C for about 60 minutes, occasionally basting with the drippings. The crust should be crispy and the meat juicy.

3
French fries

Cut the potatoes into fries, rinse and dry them. Fry in oil until golden brown, then season with salt after removing.

4
Rice with peas

Cook the rice in salted water, then stir in butter and peas at the end.

5
Serving

Serve the crispy chicken quarter on a plate, a portion of fries, and a spoonful of rice with peas. Garnish with fresh parsley.

6
TIP

If you want the skin to be extra crispy, brush it with a mixture of honey and oil before baking. And a small salad of tomatoes and onions goes well with the meal.
