Instructions

1
Preparing pork sauté

Cut pork meat into small cubes. Finely chop onion, crush garlic. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and sauté until glassy. Add garlic and meat, fry until the meat starts to turn golden brown.

2
Tomato sauce

Add ground paprika, tomato puree, and briefly sauté. Pour in peeled tomatoes, season with salt, pepper, and add a spoon of sugar. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes until the sauce thickens. For a creamier version, add cooking cream.

3
Baking with cheese

Transfer sauté to a baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes, until the cheese melts and turns golden brown.

4
Preparing mashed potatoes

Peel potatoes, cut into small pieces, and cook in salted water until soft (about 20 minutes). Drain them, add butter and warm milk. Mash into a smooth puree.

5
Serving

Serve mashed potatoes on a plate, add a portion of pork sauté with melted cheese, and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
