Pork prepared in Mexican style suitable even for children. We really enjoyed it and the kids licked their plates. Dessert was the reward.

Instructions

1

Finely chop the onion and let it sauté in oil until translucent. Add diced meat and let it brown (originally, I used pork loin sliced, but for children, I opted for smaller pieces). I added salt, pepper, and a pinch of dried garlic powder. Adjust the quantities to taste. More experienced cooks can also add chili.

2

Pour in boiling water just enough to cover the meat. Simmer for about 30 minutes until the meat is tender. Now add the Mexican vegetables - I used canned, but of course, frozen can also be used.

3

Finally, add a mixture of Solamyl (potato starch) and cold water to thicken. Season to taste, let it simmer for a moment, and it's ready.

4

Serve with mashed potatoes (in my case: potatoes, full-fat milk, butter, salt) or with rice. Enjoy!
