On a work surface, prepare a smooth dough, sprinkle with plain flour and roll out to a thickness of about 0.5 cm. Divide into squares, place a spoonful of filling in the center of each (I prefer to use less jam to prevent leakage during baking, today I used homemade apricot preserves, and to prevent leakage, I secured it with a little ground baby biscuits). Press the elongated strips together firmly (you can secure with a toothpick), place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees.

While still hot, drizzle with rum to make them shiny, but it is not necessary, they will surely taste good to you anyway. Once ready and cooled, lightly dust the pastries with powdered sugar.
