Today I left the kitchen to the kids. They wanted pancakes - not just ordinary ones. My little daughter wanted jam, my son wanted quark, and I just wanted the kitchen not to fall apart :) So we mixed, flipped, laughed together... and the result was better than any pastry shop.

Ingredients
Instructions
1
Dough
In a bowl, whisk eggs, add milk, flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt. The dough should be smooth and slightly runny. (If it's thick, add a bit of milk - I do it 'by eye', always better than following a table.)
2
Baking
Heat a drop of oil in a pan and pour the batter. Cook on both sides until golden brown. (My first pancake always turns out half-done - I call it the 'test pancake'. ????)
3
Filling
Spread each pancake with jam or quark filling and roll it up.
4
Serving
They taste best when still warm, with the jam melting and the quark creamy.

TIP
If you want to impress the kids even more, you can fold the pancakes into a triangle shape and add fruit. But honestly - even the crooked ones taste just as good.
