Instructions

1
Preparing the base

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat olive oil in a pan, add the onion and sauté until translucent. Add garlic and sauté for another 1 minute.

2
Adding the meat

Add ground beef and sauté until it breaks into small pieces and stops being raw.

3
Sauce

Add tomato puree, peeled tomatoes, and wine. Season with salt, black pepper, sugar, oregano, and basil. Stir and let it simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes until the sauce thickens. Stir occasionally.

4
Preparing the spaghetti

Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain them, but do not rinse with water.

5

Serve cooked spaghetti on a plate, top with a generous layer of Bolognese sauce, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Garnish with fresh basil.

6
Tips

For a more authentic flavor, you can use a combination of ground beef and pork. If you prefer a smoother sauce, you can partially blend it.
