Spinach Dumplings with Three Types of Cheese: From water, eggs, flour, and spinach, we make a dough, not too thin, but not too thick either, so that the dumplings can be nicely thrown through the dumpling maker. Add salt and a pinch of pepper.

In a larger pot, bring water to a boil and form dumplings from the dough. The dumplings are ready when they float to the surface of the water. Then we remove them with a slotted spoon to a larger plate or bowl. Sprinkle with cheese and fried bacon.
