The most important thing for me is the sauce itself. First, I chop the bacon (as much as desired), fry it in a pan until it releases fat on its own. As soon as they are nice and brown and crispy, I transfer them to a glass along with the fat.
In a relatively clean but greasy pan, I easily add cooking cream. When the cream is hot, I add about 2-3 cubes of processed cheese. I stir until it doesn't dissolve over low heat. I add a small pinch (really a small one) of marjoram and a pinch of basil. I put the dumplings in boiling and salted water and stir occasionally to prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
The recipe is ready. Three to four people can eat from one pack of dumplings weighing 1Kg. I also add fresh parsley to the sauce, which I even grow myself, and finally sprinkle with pre-fried bacon alias cracklings. Friends say they have never eaten better :) I believe you will have a similar response. Enjoy your meal.
