1

Zucchini croquettes (balls) with potato mash: Approximately 300g of zucchini (young fruits not peeled and grated with skin, older ones peeled and rid of tough skin), 100g of hard cheese (finely grated), 1 egg, 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, 3 tablespoons of plain flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper, 3 cloves of garlic (pressed) and additionally egg, breadcrumbs, and flour for coating.

2

Grate zucchini with skin on a fine grater, let it 'drain' and then squeeze out the excess liquid. Add grated cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, egg, flour, and breadcrumbs and mix everything thoroughly by hand.

3

If necessary, slightly thicken with breadcrumbs, the dough is soft but should hold its shape. Immediately form small balls, patties, or cylinders, it's entirely up to your imagination, coat in a triple layer and fry in a deep layer of oil from all sides until golden brown. Let the finished ones drain on a paper towel and serve immediately.
