Paella is a typical Spanish dish made from rice, similar to risotto or pilaf. It originates from the Spanish city of Valencia. People who do not live in Spain usually perceive paella as the national dish of Spain, but most Spaniards consider it a regional dish found in the Valencia area. Wikipedia

Instructions

1

Cook the rice in salted water, adding half a packet of Paella seasoning. Cook for about 15 minutes. (do not steam the rice, but cook it like pasta) The rice should be undercooked, so cook it for only 15 minutes.

2

Slice the chicken breasts. Fry the seasoned meat slices in heated oil. Add water and simmer the meat for about 5 minutes.

3

Add frozen vegetables to the meat, Paella seasoning, and squeeze the juice from the lemon. Cook for about 10 minutes.

4

Place the rice with the remaining water in a baking dish. Add the meat with vegetables and mix everything well. Season with soy sauce and black ground pepper.

5

Bake in a preheated oven for another 15-20 minutes to finish cooking the rice and to brown the meat. Serve with a slice of lemon.
