Ingredients

Instructions

1

Slice mushrooms or champignons and finely chop onion. In a deep pot, melt 2 tbsp of butter, add a bit of olive oil, and when it sizzles, add the sliced mushrooms. Sauté until the water evaporates, then add the onion, sauté for a while, add finely chopped garlic, salt, black ground pepper, and chopped thyme. Mix a bit more and transfer to a plate or another container.

2

Season the meat with salt and pepper on both sides. Wipe a pot or pan with a paper towel. Heat 2 tbsp of butter, a few drops of olive oil, and place the meat. Fry for 3 to 5 minutes on each side. When done, remove it.

3

Pour red wine into the pan drippings, mix a bit, add beef broth, reduce, and add cream. While stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Add the meat, prepared mushrooms, and briefly heat. Serve with potatoes prepared according to your preference. I recommend mashed potatoes :)
