Peel and dice the onion.

Sauté finely chopped onion in butter. When the onion is golden, mix in sweet ground paprika. After foaming, pour in about 3 dl of water, add salted whole chicken breasts and simmer. While simmering, turn the chicken breasts and add water as needed.

Strain the sauce over the chicken portions and heat. Remove the tender chicken breasts, thicken the juice with a roux made from flour and butter in a separate bowl, by melting the butter and adding the flour. Cook the thickened sauce for about 20 minutes. Finally, pour in cream, let it boil, and season with soy sauce or spices.

Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts on plates and serve with rice, pasta, or potatoes.
