Minced Meat with Dill Sauce and Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
Instructions
Boil diced potatoes with 1 teaspoon of salt. It's okay if they slightly overcook. Once they are soft, drain them, add about 70g of butter, and mash them. Meanwhile, add approximately 2 deciliters of milk (cold is fine). Stir until smooth without lumps.
Sauté finely chopped onions in oil until golden brown, then add half a liter of milk and about 1 teaspoon of flour. Bring to a boil and on low heat, gradually add flour mixed with cold water until it thickens. Approximately half a cup of water and smooth flour. Slowly pour this mixture into the milk while stirring constantly until the sauce thickens. Finally, add dill (seasoning). Some people also add a bit of sugar.
Prepare minced meat in a pan with oil as shown in the picture. I did all the steps at once. It's a very simple, inexpensive, and tasty dish. Enjoy!
