Potatoes can either be cooked in their skin and sliced cleaned or peeled raw and sliced into thinner slices. We slice them directly into a greased baking sheet or casserole dish. Cover the bottom of this container with potatoes, season with salt, lightly season with black pepper and ground paprika. Place sliced bacon or sausage wheels on top and cover with potatoes again. Repeat this process about 3 to 4 times, depending on how much fits.

2

If we have bacon, we can put it on the second - third layer on the bacon, which we don't have to put so densely, as bacon will also come to us and we can also add slices of cheese if necessary. They can go directly on the bacon ;). The last layer consists of potatoes, again salted, seasoned and lightly drizzled with oil. Cover the prepared potatoes and bake in a preheated oven.

3

When they are almost completely soft, uncover. Pour cream and milk into the container, add eggs, a little salt and grated hard cheese. Mix the mixture well and pour over the potatoes. Leave uncovered for a few more minutes to bake until the egg is set. Check by pricking with a fork.
