This recipe was created spontaneously on a Saturday for lunch, when I wanted to surprise my wife with something simple but honest. Pork slices with mushroom sauce have become a favorite at our home - the sauce is creamy, savory, and the meat literally melts in your mouth. If you are looking for a recipe that will please the whole family and can be done without complicated cooking, this is it.

Instructions

1

Slice the pork meat, season with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat oil or butter in a pan and sear the meat until browned. Set aside.

2

Sauté finely chopped onion until golden brown, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until the water evaporates.

3

Add crushed garlic, a bit of mustard, and sprinkle with flour. Stir briefly and pour in water or broth (about 200 ml). Let it simmer.

4

Return the meat to the sauce, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes until tender. Finally, add cream, let it simmer gently, and season with salt to taste.

5

Serve with steamed rice, homemade dumplings, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with fresh parsley.
