Today nothing extraordinary... We just felt like having fried cauliflower, but to make it more interesting than just traditionally breaded, I tried using Pea.

Instructions

1

Cut the stalk with leaves off the cauliflower, place it in a larger pot, cover with water, add salt, and cook until half-cooked. Then drain, let it cool, and break it down into smaller florets (I also split the larger ones to create smaller pieces that are easier to handle).

2

In a bowl, pour peas, add grilling spices (optional, the mixture is already slightly seasoned), and cold water, mix into a thick batter. Dip individual cauliflower pieces in it using a spoon and fork, then fry in a deep layer of oil from all sides until golden brown.

3

Let the fried cauliflower drain on a paper towel. Serve with boiled potatoes.

Pea is a mixture of finely ground peas, corn, rice, and wheat with the addition of spices and salt. It can be used for breading meat and vegetables, thickening soups and sauces, and as an egg substitute in various cakes and pancakes. It is gluten-free.
