1. Heat water and milk until warm. Pour 50ml of milk into a bowl, add crumbled yeast and sugar. Let the yeast mixture rise.

2. Sift flour with salt into a larger plastic bowl. After 10 minutes, the yeast mixture is risen.

3

3. Mix egg and oil into the remaining water and milk. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour. Mix the dough roughly to combine with the flour. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

4. Now knead the dough, brush it with oil, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes to an hour. (I put it under a blanket like my grandma used to)

5. Divide the dough into two halves, shape two dumplings on a floured board and let them rest for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare a wide pot with about 200ml of water, place a steamer in it. Place a parchment paper on top. When the water starts boiling, place the dumpling on top and cover. Let it steam for 20 minutes and DO NOT OPEN!!! It could collapse.

6. After 20 minutes, uncover the lid and prick the dumpling with a skewer while still on the steamer. If you're not consuming it immediately, brush it with oil. Do the same for the second dumpling.
