Fried Cheese Niva and Potato Mash with Sautéed Onions
Ingredients
Instructions
Cut Niva into approximately 1cm thick triangles, coat in smooth flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Once all Niva pieces are coated, dilute eggs with a spoon of milk (the mixture will adhere better to the previous coating), sift, dip each piece in this mixture and coat again in breadcrumbs. Immediately fry in a deep layer of oil on both sides until golden brown and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Homemade mayonnaise
Put all ingredients in a narrow container (ideally the original one from a hand-held electric whisk, it is necessary for the whisk head to fit snugly in diameter, just barely), submerge the whisk to the bottom, turn on the highest speed and slowly pour in. No frantic whisking back and forth. A really thick mayonnaise is formed right before your eyes and is ready in an instant. If you want to make homemade tartar sauce, simply add finely chopped pickles and onions, and season according to taste.
Potato mash is a classic, loved by everyone :) we like it with sautéed onions like 'mashed potatoes'
