I always make this potato salad when the holidays are approaching or when we have fish fillets at home. It's a recipe that I've slightly adapted to my taste - to be delicate, fresh, and not too heavy. I love the taste of freshly cooked potatoes mixed with onions and pickles, which reminds me of childhood and family lunches.

Instructions

1

Boil the potatoes in their skins, let them cool, and peel them. Then cut them into small cubes.

2

Finely chop the pickles, eggs, and onions and add them to the potatoes along with the peas.

3

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, yogurt (or sour cream), mustard, salt, pepper, and a few drops of pickle juice.

4

Add the dressing to the potatoes and gently mix everything to prevent the potatoes from falling apart.

5

Let the salad rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow the flavors to blend beautifully.

Linda's tip

If I want the salad to be fresher, I add a little apple cut into small pieces. And if it should be lighter, I replace some of the mayonnaise with plain yogurt - then we can enjoy it even in the evening without regrets.

Tip

Tento zemiakový šalát sa perfektne hodí k rybám, rezňom alebo varenému mäsu. Na sviatky ho podávam s vychladeným pohárom bieleho vína a vždy sa po ňom len tak zapráši :)
