Slice the bread rolls into rounds and place in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk eggs in milk with salt, chopped parsley, and baking powder or baking soda. Pour over the bread rolls, mix gently, and divide into 2 parts. Place each part on plastic wrap, shape into dumplings, and wrap tightly. Cook for 25 minutes in boiling water. After cooking, unwrap, remove the plastic wrap, and brush with butter.
