"Could I taste a piece now?", Kuba asked eagerly just before lunch, and I really don't know if he thought I would allow him to. :D But just half an hour after lunch, he headed to the kitchen with a fork and intended to "snatch" about half an acre for tasting, so I had to slow him down a bit... :D :D

Instructions

1

Beat 2 sponge cake layers ... Whisk egg yolks each time with half of the sugar from one batch (i.e. 40g) until stiff peaks form, beat egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt and the other half of sugar (again 40g). Fold in flour and egg white foam, spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (I used a sheet with dimensions of 39x26cm) and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes. Slightly cool, flip onto a tray and remove the paper. Bake the second layer in the same way and let it cool.

2

Then place one layer in a pan with higher edges (I have the same size low pan and one with higher edges, which is an advantage), pour warm jelly over it, cover with the second layer, press down and let it cool completely. Then spread with whipped cream (I use instant) and sprinkle with grated chocolate or Granko. Let the finished cake sit in the fridge overnight.

Jelly

1l 100% orange juice, 3 packets of vanilla pudding. Cook a thick pudding.

4
Whipped cream

I used 4 packets of instant whipped cream, 300ml chilled milk and 1 chilled sour cream (180g). Whip everything with a hand electric mixer.
