Cut the meat into cubes, season with salt and pepper, and let it rest for a few minutes.
Sauté the onion in oil until golden brown, add the meat and cook until browned.
Add the paprika, stir, and pour in the broth. Simmer covered for about 35-40 minutes until the meat is tender.
Add the peas, butter, and flour mixed in a little water. Let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes to thicken the sauce.
Serve with freshly cooked rice.
Linda's tip
If you want the dish to have a slightly sweet taste, add a pinch of sugar at the end - it will nicely enhance the peas. And for freshness, you can also add a little lemon juice.
Tip
Toto jedlo sa výborne hodí aj na druhý deň – chute sa prepoja a omáčka získa ešte plnšiu chuť. Ak ti zostane ryža, pokojne ju zamiešaj priamo do mäsa – vznikne výborné rizoto.
